Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a festive way to kick off your holiday, this beloved Pittsburgh tradition is the perfect way to start the day with family, friends, and plenty of fun.
What’s New in 2025
✨ Officially Timed Races!
For the first time ever, our 4.4 mile trot will be officially timed, giving you the chance to track your performance and set a personal best.

This year, 100% of proceeds benefit The Pitterich Foundation’s Productive Pittsburgh Project, an organization dedicated to improving health and well-being in the Pittsburgh region. By focusing on education, philanthropy, and innovation, The Pitterich Foundation creates opportunities that inspire growth and lasting impact. Together, we make a difference.
