Healthcare Practices Group has New Leader
Billie Arca has joined Seubert & Associates as Healthcare Practices Leader for the agency’s Healthcare Practices group. The group serves clients in all facets of the healthcare industry, including physician groups, hospitals, skilled nursing and assisted living homes, blood banks, rehabilitation facilities and medical centers. Ms. Arca’s team specializes in identifying and managing risks for these clients through proper coverage for medical malpractice, property/casualty, liability and workers’ compensation.
Ms. Arca has more than 30 years experience in insuring all areas of the healthcare industry. For the past 15 years she worked at Aon Risk Services where she was assistant vice president and account executive in the firm’s healthcare and risk management practices. There she specialized in difficult facets of casualty coverage and handled sophisticated loss-sensitive programs, self-insurance and the formation of captive insurance programs. Notably, she developed a group-purchasing program for a large number of blood centers throughout the U.S. From 1974 to 1992, Ms. Arca was with Marsh USA as assistant vice president and account executive in healthcare and risk management practices.
“The knowledge and experience that Billie brings to our healthcare clients will no doubt positively impact their businesses,” said Georgianne Concannon, vice president of Seubert’s Commercial Division.
In addition to being licensed in all insurance lines, Ms. Arca’s professional affiliations include the Association of Healthcare Risk Management, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania, the American Association of Blood Banks and the Philadelphia Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
